From powder to pill : A bridge between ideas and reality.
Solid dosage forms for beginners is a comprehensive course introducing the entire
product development life cycle , It is specifically designed to help the learner build a solid knowledge base about formulation of solid dosage forms starting from scratch. The course covers each step starting with understanding what is a dosage form followed by getting familiar with core unit operations like preformulation, mixing, granulation, compression, etc… and ending by learning the science of stability and scale through understanding the principles of package material selection , stability study conduction and scale up process from lab scale to manufacturing scale.
This course provides a deep , step by step understanding of how an active drug substance is transformed into a stable effective and reliable solid dosage product.

By the end of this course the student should be able to:
