Dr. Merna Atef, MSc – Pharmaceutical R&D Scientist & Technical Courses instructor
Merna Atef is an accomplished Pharmaceutical R&D Scientist with over 7 years of experience in formulation design, analytical development, and product innovation across diverse dosage forms, including oral films, hydrogels, Solid, and Liquid dosage forms.
She holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics from Cairo University, where her research work focused on advanced oral drug delivery systems. Her scientific excellence is reflected in her published research article in the International Journal of Applied Pharmaceutics (Q2 Scopus) on bi-laminated oral disintegrating films.
At Eva Pharma’s Research Center (MARC), Merna has successfully led the formulation and development of over 40 innovative pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products, playing a key role in bringing new therapeutic solutions to market.
Beyond the lab, Merna is recognized for her mentoring and technical training expertise. She has designed and led structured R&D training programs and coached many researchers in pharmaceutical development.
Her passion for teaching, coaching, and translating complex science into practical learning makes her an engaging instructor, dedicated to bridging the gap between academic principles and industrial practice in pharmaceutical development.
